can you generate different traffic flow from those devices and Smarts can identify the root cause if there are issues such as large amount of discards/errors/utilizations?
Yes, MIMIC can generate variety of traffic flow from each of those devices.
You can create various error conditions like heavy traffic, device down,
interface down, dropped packets, delayed packets, trap storm, etc.
Once you make those changes, Smarts should be able to detect those.
